The main event of the day is the raft race. The race will start at the Beckford road bridge at 12pm and the rafts will make their way round Hansen Park and finish at the Ansley Terrace foot bridge about an hour later. Although its call a race there is no prize for coming first. The purpose of the race is to have as much fun and make as much noise as possible. Therefore prizes will be awarded to the nosiest raft, best looking raft, the most entertaining raft, etc.
